Erika Valadares

Erika’s story is one of inspiration!  Back in 2010 she was overweight and her health was at risk.  She decided to join in a gym and start to exercise by herself but eventually hired a personal trainer, because she had no idea what to do!  To mix it up, and explore different types of exercise, she started attending some group exercises like Zumba, Cardio, and Strength.  As soon as she started she knew that THIS is what she wanted to do!  She dropped 55 lbs and went to school to become a personal trainer.  Erika graduated from American Academy of Personal Training, Boston MA, is certified by AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America) in group exercise, Zumba Basic licensed, Tabatha Boot Camp certified, Les Mills Bodypump certified, TRX qualified, LROME (Limited of range of motion exercises) certified and working to complete more.
On her days off Erika likes to visit lakes or beaches and just enjoys being to be outdoors whenever possible.  She loves Latin music and dance; Reggae-ton and Bachata are her favorites.  Erika has also become Vegan because of her love for all animals!
Erika cannot see herself doing anything else for her career, working in fitness was meant to be and allows her to be a happy, energetic and healthy instructor!
